Paradise Lost and Other Poems by John Milton

This book is probably the most beautifully written description of Satan's fall from Heaven and is one of my favorite books of all time. One of my favorite quotes is, "A mind can't be change by place or time. The mind it's is own place, and in itselft can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven. What matter where, if I be still the same, and what I should be, all but less than he whom thunder hath made greater? Here at least we shall be free; almighty hath not built here for his envy, will not drive us hence; here we may reighn secure, and in my choice, to reign is worth ambition, though in hell: Better To Reign in Hell than serve in Heaven."

Atlas Shrugged

I would rate the book as an 8/10. I went into the book hoping I would dislike it since it is such a profound book to atheist, but upon reading it, I realize there is no attacks agnainst anything supernatural, so I softened. I came to the conclusion that the politics of the book are what I believe in. It made me fully aware and understand things I could not make sense of. I learned from this book that one does not need to make sense of other's actions, something I've been comfortable with anyway. As long as I stay true to myself, that I have and always embrace my selfishness and never considered it a sin. I am glad someone agrees with my point. So that is why it is an 8/10.
